HomeScore Home Planner
Four free planning tools help you understand what to fix, what can wait, and what to budget for your home, using HomeScore's public research data. No HomeScore account is required.
Can I use Home Planner in ChatGPT or Claude?
ChatGPT on the web and Claude support custom connectors through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Availability and setup depend on your plan and workspace settings.
HomeScore's connection experience is in early testing. The public server provides the four planning tools below; setup inside ChatGPT and Claude is still being validated. Home Planner is not listed or approved in either platform's directory.
This version does not connect to your HomeScore account or retrieve your saved home records. Use general home and system details; you do not need to submit an address or an inspection document.
Public MCP server URL for early connection testing: https://mcp.myhomescore.app/mcp
You can also use HomeScore on the web: review inspection findings or plan your first year.
The four tools
Cost estimate
2026 replacement- and repair-cost ranges for major home systems, drawn from HomeScore's public research dataset.
Finding prioritization
Turns a list of inspection findings into an urgency-ranked plan using HomeScore's Repair Triage Scale (Watch → Urgent).
Maintenance plan
Generates a 12-month maintenance cadence for the systems you list, keyed to age and category — not a contractor schedule.
Reserve plan
Computes a home-maintenance reserve target and monthly contribution using published 1%–3%-of-value benchmarks.
Planning limits
Outputs are planning aids generated from your inputs and HomeScore's public reference data. They are not contractor quotes, home inspections, licensed professional opinions or financial advice. Results may change as reference data and date-based assumptions change.
